The Oxford Mail Youth Football League provides football opportunities for nearly 6500 children in over 480 teams from over 90 clubs from across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.

We aim to provide a high quality, safe and enjoyable football experience, following the Respect programme, with the main purpose of providing child-centred football in a player-centred environment.

Oxfordshire FA

Through our affiliation to Oxfordshire FA, we organise football for 10 age groups from Under 7s through to Under 16s, across four different formats (5v5, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11).

Results and photos (team/action) will appear in the Oxford Mail every Wednesday. Match reports will appear on the League website.

Teams

WINTER/SPRING LEAGUE

The League is now accepting entries for the Winter/Spring Leagues in the U7-U13 age groups. Clubs wishing to add a new team in any of these age groups should complete the entry form and send this to the League Secretary by Friday 2 November. Cost of entry for a team is £50 (50% of the full season fee). Entries may be included after this date but acceptance cannot be guaranteed.

Communication

LEAGUE APP

Our League App is now available for League officials, Club officials, managers, coaches and referees to download to use . It is available from the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and Google Play for Android phones (an Android tablet version should be available shortly). Search term is OneApp G6. At the moment, it is bundled in with some other Leagues/CFAs due to Apple development rules. If you login, you will see the OMYFL options. Login details are available from your club secretary.

Referees

REFEREE REGISTRATION

We are looking to add more referees to our appointments list so we can cover as many games as possible. If you are interested in joining the referee list for the League, please contact the Referee Secretary. Matches kick-off on Saturday mornings (between 10.00am and 12.00pm) for U7 to U10 age groups and on Sundays (usually between 10.30am and 2.00pm) for U11 to U16 age groups.
