With the on-going COVID-19 situation causing financial difficulties and uncertainties for clubs, especially at grassroots level, the League have been looking at ways to help specifically in the area of entry fees for the 2020-2021 season.
As a result, we can announce a brand new initiative in partnership with Ignite Sports UK Ltd to offer both a free coaching course to help with the return to coaching after the lockdown and, linked to that, a bursary scheme towards club fees for the 2020-2021 season.
As a League, we would like to express our gratitude to Ignite Sports and, in particular, to Justin Merritt, the Chief Executive of Ignite, for partnering with the League and offering this fantastic opportunity to our clubs. In these uncertain times, any support that can be given to grassroots sports is very welcome.
